The PENTAX K-1 Mark II was created to be the flagship capable of achieving this purpose. It has a new and advanced image processing system to provide that wonderful image quality to which all photographers aspire. It produces images rich in shades and chromatic gradations, of high resolution and with a higher yield of blur (bokeh). The Pixel Shift Resolution System II - the original super-resolution technology of PENTAX - can now also be applied to free-hand shooting. The AF system employs a new algorithm that ensures precise fire even with moving subjects.
In addition to the outstanding image quality, this model offers excellent high sensitivity imaging performance and an enhanced interface for even more immersive use.
By connecting an acceleration unit to the PRIME IV processor, it ensures impeccable and high-speed operation.
The Pixel Shift Resolution System developed by PENTAX has now been updated to version II for amazing results. Now, this system is equipped with a dynamic resolution mode of newly conceived pixels, allowing the photographer to capture high-sensitivity images in free-hand shooting, detecting the slight oscillations of the subject's position during continuous shooting.
The camera is also equipped with a series of functions designed to optimize creativity and its use by the photographer:
• Body entirely made of magnesium alloy, dust resistant and atmospheric agents
• Optical viewfinder with almost 100% field of view
• New and sophisticated Shake Reduction II system
• Adjustable LCD monitor to fit various angles of shooting.
