The new SIGMA 16 mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary is the first interchangeable lens for mirrorless in the APS-C format that offers the focal length of 24 mm and brightness F1.4 (Sony E) or 32 mm (micro 4/3) with the same brightness of F1.4. It is the wide-ranging lens that mirrorless photographers expected.
The 16 mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary combines high-level optical results and brightness F1.4. This lens adopts an optical scheme of 16 elements in 13 groups and uses high quality materials. The goal minimizes optical aberrations and offers a great resolution both at full apertures and at all other diaphragm values. The optical scheme and the linear motor offer progressive focus during video shooting. Do not forget the graft that adopts special seals against water and dust.
