One of the most popular areas of our municipality, the cultivation of this vine is undoubtedly Contrada Campore, an area located 500 mt. slm whose soil consists of calcareous clay marl and whose solar exposure is South, southeast.
In this district, as a family tradition, we have planted our vineyards of Aglianico, from which we produce our Aglianico Irpinia DOC and our Taurasi Aurelia docg. The grapes are harvested in early November and, after pressing, the must ferments in contact with the skins for about 15 days, follows aging in barriques of 12 months and in bottle for 6 months.
