SantaColor 100 is a 100 ISO color negative film that is just made, compatible with the normal C41 process. Since this is not a film, it has no special support (remjet) and can therefore be easily processed in any laboratory around the world or at home. The different base also slightly changes the results of the photos. Finally, it is very precise in the colors and has an exceptionally fine grain and detail, it can also be pushed to 800 ISO for slightly more contrasting results, but beautiful.
The film is also compatible with the RA4 printing process when an additional color filter is used, approximately equivalent to the orange base of other color negative films. The film can be pulled up to 800 ISO with only a lower color accuracy loss and a slight increase in the grain. Exposed to 400 ISO and pulled to +2 stop in development phase, the film shows accurate colors and an almost grainless appearance, typically associated with films such as Kodak Ektar 100 or Kodak Portra 160.
The film is made in the United States and hand packed in reused containers in Finland.
